In March 2013, one of our church members was admitted to Astoria Hospital for a heart procedure, as he had been in heart failure the previous week. However, when the cardiologist ran the EKG, they were astounded to find that he had a normal heart rhythm! This man had put in a prayer card at Gateway Community Church Chuck in Hammond, and now his heart is healed! God is amazing!!

Glasses No Longer Needed
One of our church members visited our Saturday Healing Rooms and received prayer for her eyes, as she had vision problems. The person praying felt that they were urged by the Holy Spirit to kiss her eyes as a prophetic act, and upon checking that she was okay with that, they did so. Upon have her eyes kissed, the person receiving the prayer was able to read a far sign that she wasn't able to before. Since then, she has not needed glasses for driving as her vision has been incredibly better! Yay God!!

Sunday Service Words of Knowledge
During Sunday morning service today, we had several words of knowledge presented by folks in the service and spent time praying for those who they applied to. One lady testified that a word of knowledge about a headache wrapping around her head applied to her. She received prayer and felt the pain totally lift away! This was the first time in 10 days that she'd been headache free! Also, another word of knowledge was about pain in the heels. A gentleman got up and share that he received prayer for this and felt warmth go into his heels. The pain in his heels left!

Literacy Center Provision
"The Marketplace Momentum team joined us in prayer a couple of months ago at the Mid Valley Literacy Center in Keizer. We are a non profit business that provides tutoring for students taking classes in ESL, GED, US Citizenship, etc. The team asked God to pour out his blessing and provision on our efforts as we struggle to secure stable funding for this vital ministry.
God has continually met our needs and exceeded our expectations, but last week he really went above and beyond to bless us. In the mail we received a check for $10,000! The money is a grant from a local foundation (a grant we didn't even apply for) and the funds aren't restricted in any way. The local foundation knows of our work and felt led to help.
We know that this is a direct answer to our prayers and want to thank the Marketplace Momentum team for joining us in those prayers!

Youth Group Healings
During the Foundation Youth Group in October, the presence of the Lord fell heavily on one particular night, and the kids began praying for each other. One of the kids had fallen during school with a collapsed knee, causing him a lot of pain and leaving him barely able to walk. Another one of the kids had a shoulder that was hurting from football. They both received prayer, and the one with the knee problem had almost all of the pain go away and was barely limping by the end of the night! The other had his shoulder pain completely leave and was amazed! GO GOD!

IT Band Healed!
One of our Life School of Supernatural Ministry students had a strained and hurting IT Band from a long biking trip in September 2012. He couldn't really exercise at all and was receiving physical therapy. Weight-lifting, running, and biking all caused huge pain. At an LSSM class in October 2012, he got prayer, and all the symptoms left! He got it checked out by his physical therapist who could no longer find the pain spot! Completely healed IT Band - yay God!!

Able to Run Again
"I have been running every morning and I am up to 3 miles....that has been a long journey and if God didn't heal my neck and hip I wouldn't be running. [A team from Bethel Church came up to Life Church] and they prayed for my neck....before I couldn't even jog because the jarring hurt my neck and that was less than a year ago. My hip is working now and I can run....GOD IS SO GOOD!"

Cyst Disappeared from Wrist!
A young girl in our church had a cyst on her right wrist that hurt while writing and she sometimes had to wear a brace to reduce the irritation. During a Sunday night service at Bethel Church in late July 2012, it totally disappeared!!! Yay God!!!

Lupus Healing in Progress!
"I have been fighting lupus for 12 years! But praise the Lord! He is healing me of lupus! I had a blood test last week, and the lupus antibody in my blood has gone down by half! This is just the beginning! I'm believing God to heal me completely - thank you for your prayers and faith in not only His ability to heal, but His desire to make us completely whole! Carpal Tunnel Healing!
Our business outreach team visited a Literacy Center which works within a church in late June 2012, and prayed for one of the pastors there who had symptoms of carpal tunnel. The team prayed for the pain that was going up both of his arms, and he felt the fire of God come on him. The pain totally left, and our team verified with him the next day that he had been completely healed! After praying for him, the team later found out that he went up to two of his other friends at the church and saw them both healed as well! Go God!!!

Shoulder Healing!
A daughter of one of our church members visited him at his home in July 2012 complaining of right shoulder pain. She had been unable to lift it for a few days. Quickly, he offered to pray for her and commanded all the pain to go in Jesus's name. His daughter became wide-eyed and said, "Are you kidding me?" She was then able to lift her right shoulder and the pain was almost completely gone. Go God!

Lumps Gone!
Marketplace Momentum business outreach prayed for a woman with a home-based business in June 2012. After praying and prophesying over her and her business, she asked for prayer for two lumps on her neck and one on her ear. She had been unable to get them checked out at the doctor yet due to lack of insurance, and was pretty nervous about them. The team declared healing and witnessed in awe as the lumps shrunk and completely disappeared! She couldn't find them anymore! Yay God!!

A woman asked to be healed of pain in her heel that she had been troubled with for several months. After prayer, it felt about 50% better. She later reported that over the following days, the pain completely left. Thank you, Jesus!

A woman reports that she was healed of neck pain during the ladies get together. A testimony was given of neck and back pain being healed, and she decided to go to the Healing Rooms the next morning to get prayer. She discovered that she had been healed already!! Uterine Cancer Healed
A woman reports that a friend came to her for prayer because she was worried about an upcoming test that her doctor was going to run. There had already been several tests done, and the doctor wanted to run "just one more." The woman prayed life and healing over her friend and told all cancer to go.
When the friend went back to the doctor, everything was good. The organ looked pink and healthy. The doctor was amazed and said that what she saw now, was not what she had seen when she had ordered the tests. In fact, the doctor told her that she had been sure that the woman had cancer. God is so good!

Back Pain Healed
A woman reports that she had been experiencing a lot of back pain for several weeks. She was ready to go to the doctor to see what could be done, but decided to first go up for prayer after the service. Nothing happened right away, but as she was walking out to her car in the parking lot, she realized that all the pain had gone! Alleluia!

During a service people were told to pray for each other. One man asked for prayer to be healed of a cold. He didn't feel anything right away, but later that day he noticed that the cold was gone! He had been feeling sick for 3 weeks. Praise God!

No Back Pain!
My back was hurting for a few weeks from an unknown cause. The pain was in my right back in the ribcage area from my shoulder blade to my waist. It was hard to sleep on that side and sometimes it would just hit me unexpectedly. It was not constant but would occur suddenly when I moved a certain way. When I was prayed for, the person put his hand on my back and I felt heat from his hand while he prayed. When he was done it felt better but not completely. He prayed again and it was much better.
